The Adult Education Providers’ Network: Connecting, supporting and facilitating a network of education providers in the south inner city of Dublin.
The network was established in 2006. Ten of the major providers of basic adult education and further education to the community in the south inner city area agreed to work together to develop and expand the education and training opportunities in their targeted communities.
At present, funding from DAF is employing a part-time worker who supports and facilitates the network. The project works with each of the members to identify opportunities for and support co-operation with each other including participation in the Aontas Adult Learners Festival in February 2008.
